A new island and a new bus! We were all very sad to say goodbye to tess and Nat as we left the North Island on the ferry to Picton in the South island, the non to Nelson. Again feeling very rough and gutted to part with the BRRB but we would all soon be reunited once again! Nelson is another cute LITTLE town. Everything in NZ seems to be on a much smaller scale and about 20 years behind the uk. The hostel here was so lovely and we were glad to be staying for 2 nites. Had another great nite out with the lads then was so happy to meet up with Jess matt and Salvo for drinks! Was so good to see them again after Oz. Shame it was only for 1 nite!

Rebellion - who cares about Westport anyway???

A very random and spontaneous day - Jen, Ed the lash, Pete and I decide to get up at 6am to catch the intercity bus to Hokitika! We sacked off the kiwi bus as we couldnt get on the same one as the BRRB and it was someones 22nd bday coming up (MINE), missed out the stop at Westport and crossed our fingers that we would be allowed to stay at Mahinapua Hotal - Poo pub - that night!

Stopped at the Punakiaiki pancake rocks on the way where we met the kiwi bus - what a reunion! Jackie the legend bus driver agreed to book us in at poo pub and we found out the fancy dress theme for the night - Green and Bling (?!). Me jen pete and the lash then had to find outfits in the dead toen of hokitika before getting a taxi to the pub. Here we met the legendary Les, a crazy, eccentric man who has been running the kiwi night for years and hasnt had a holiday since he started 19 years ago!

The eveing is somewhat masked by the 12 Jaeger bombs, 3 jugsof beer and the dirty pint i was made to drink at midnight when i officially turned 22! The pics once again speak for themselves but lots of nudity (of course) and genreal carnage as well as loss of important items! Awesome night tho - def a highlight!

4th record broken - previous no of Jaegemeister comsumed in a nite =3. Our bus = 8!! Oh dear! Expensive night!
