R&R in the Cook Islands Got up on Saturday and went to Friday. This was our groundhog day as we went across the international date line. After a rubbish start to Fiji (some bint called Grace messed up our booking) we arrived on Waya island in Octopus Resort. Here we met up with team 17 minus Jacko plus bottle of jaegermeister - standard. Octopus was luxury. Such a gorgeous resort and he dorm was so not a dorm! The whole island was beautiful and you couldn't fault the beach and pool. On arrival we had a traditional Fijian welcome and got to drink the local Kava drink. Really good to see the guy...

The next morning we drove through yet more Lord of the rings Scees in the Tongariro national park to the River Valley Lodge, a gorgeous little hostel set in a very scenic river valley. After a very close game of volleyball there was more drinking to see in Jen's 22nd birthday at midnight.
