Cu Chi Tunnels Trip

On the way to the tunnels we stopped at a handicap handcraft workshop, where they made plates and plaques of really detailed designs with broken bits of shells. They all worked on stations and showed how its done from start to finish and into the shop.

We then went onto the tunnels. It was so clever seeing what they made, three levels of underground network. The whole population of Cu Chi lived underground in these tunnels whilst the Americans were attacking. They set up some crazy booby traps for the American soldiers, I did feel very sorry for them Americans. They then showed us a film they'd made about how they used the tunnel and used the Americans used ammunition to make landmines and granades to set on the Americans, it was a very biased video!!
