And so it begins... The first of many Selfies (as named and abused by Crystal), sat on the plane ready for take off!! My first plane to Madrid was weirdly decorated in music notes and spiders!! I'll try and attach that pic when I figure out how to use this blog app!!

I slept pretty much most the way, next to a guy who randomly burst into laughter every so often... i think he was with the people behind us and was listening to their convo, but otherwise the flight was really quiet, despite the hundreds of school kids, which was nice, as I think I was exhausted from all the emotional rolla-coaster the last few days has been!! The sun was blazing through my window and the clouds looked very peaceful, which made me think, I wish I had a better geography teacher... As then I may have been able to answer the question, does the clouds catch the water for rain, or does the water for the rain clump together and make the cloud??!! But my window didn't get wet when we went through the cloud!!! I obviously haven't had a window seat for a long long time :)

Now I'm sat in Madrid airport waiting for my connection to Lima. I got searched going through the Spanish security as the bleeper sat off and my bags of pasta and biscuits looked suspicious apparently!! But I've managed to find a plug to charge my phone, not sure if this is legal, but necessities call :-P oh and I was able to pay for a vending machine with my contactless card - how crazy is technology nowadays, or am I behind the times??

Off to start the first book of Diana now Rosie Colson, I'll let you know how many years it takes me to read :-)

Next stop ... Lima, Peru
