Today I went for a walk in the rain to explore a little of the city. I started at the museum of Asian Civilisation, it was nice, lots of pretty materials but I think I've been spoilt by museums in Vietnam, but at least I was out of the rain for an hour :) I then walked over to the Merlin monument and waterfall, which is a huge lion with water spouting out of his mouth! Wikipedia tells me that this is actually called Merlion and is a mythical creature, the city...

Sentosa Island I FINALLY arrived in Singapore after another 48hr bus ride!! The last bus was supposed to arrive at 11pm, then 4.30am but actually arrived at 9.30am :-S My conclusion of South East Asia is... Don't trust anyone when it comes to timing!! I found the hostel alright and was still in time for breakfast :) and had a great shower. Then after chatting to a few people in the hostel, we decided to go to Sentosa and act like big kids for the afternoon :D...
