June 9: Day 35:
Today we were driving from Silent Grove to Mornington Wilderness Camp, well we were supposed to but when we radioed in we found out they had no campgrounds left. So we drove further down the road to another wilderness camp, but when we arrived at the front gate of the camp we found that it had been locked up because it was closed for all of the wet. That meant that our next option was to go on for another 60 kilometres. We got there, setup and left to go back to the Mount Barnett Roadhouse for lunch. We came back ready for a swim in the lake on the campground. There was a boat that helped you get to the other side which was powered by the force of rope. So we had to pull ourselves across, but we just did it for fun. The water was freezing, but we met a boy named Noah, who was Cam’s age. We then came back to enjoy a delicious sausage dinner.
