June 8: Day 34:
Today we drove 10 kilometres from our campground in Silent Grove again on a dirt road. On our arrival we read some signs about the wildlife there and the flowers. We chose to do the full 2 kilometre return walk on a class 5 Track. There were tiny water crossings until we got to where the WATERFALL was. That was a big lake kind of crossing. So we went an extra 500 metres down to the water fall. We were allowed to swim in that area so we had packed our swimmers and swam there. The funny thing was that there was algae here so I slipped a soon as I stepped into the water. The water was freezing but we got used to it pretty quickly. Then Dad took Lil, Cam and I over to where the waterfall was and we stuck our heads under the running water. After we stopped swimming Lil and Stu started skidding down the smooth rocks into the water and were sliding back down into the water so Cam and I started doing it as well. We walked back to the car and drove back to the camper trailer for the rest of the day. At 8:00 in the night we used the remnants of our firewood that we had been carrying around since the Flinders Ranges and invited our camping neighbours to come have marshmallows by the fire. One of them was a boy my age named Toby. Cam, Toby and I got bored of the fire and went back to his trailer to watch movies.
