Hello Every one,
Well I haven’t had the opportunity to do any real sight seeing yet, I have been working for the last few days but I should get three off now….. I am still waiting for my bike it is sat in customs and I have to wait for a letter! Everything over here is so spaced out it quite difficult to get around unless you want to stick to the train tracks or bus routes. I was going to buy some skates to cruse around on but I haven’t found any over here. I think I am going down to rotorua on or around the 8th of December so that should be good, if I have my bike then I will try to ride back or down there one or the other, it’s a long ass ride though 200 ish miles so will have to sort my self some accommodation and something to carry some food/ clothes and so forth. we went to the cinema the other day and its is amazing its about 10 floors high and really funky its kinda like a supped up cinema. We watched The Departed quite good if you get the chance to see it.
For the most part of the last few days I have just been setting my self up for the coming months, I now have enough clothes to fill up a washing bin, some sunglasses and found about 10 bike shops. 10!!!! But for the most part they don’t have everything that 1 shop has back home (and extremely expensive)
I have found some good tours of the south island to go on so that will be awesome (think you will like them Toria, if you’re here long enough to do them. Did you get the leaving photos sorted yet?)
Ta Adam
Ps over here I can get a beef sandwich with salad and greavy!!! For thouse of you at work that thought that was strange, you can all so get a roast dinner take away and no body takes the piss out of my shaved legs in fact its normal. Oh and piss means alcohol. Crisps are called chips, chips are either called fries or hot chips. Welley boots are gum boots.
