Hi Peeps,

Well I have just go settled onto my new room! The house is really cool, you can move most of the walls technically I could move my room around the house! Bet you would like that mum! My room has 1 back wall in it which is much like a chalk board, hence the strong temptation to get some chalk and right a list of things on the wall! The neighbourhood appears quite nice and the people I live with are really nice Nicole and Julie, Nicole is French and his name is pronounced “nick o lie”. Julie is American and a real fun person to talk too. Between the two of them the food here is amazing! Nether of them own a car, so they ride everywhere. We are in the heart of the city here so there is not much need for a car! It’s all good.

Now I have moved out from Kirsty’s I have had the opportunity to do my own shopping, its quite fun! But apparently I will get bored of it really quick. I think not. There are so many things to look at and read the information of! Then there is the price stuff! I.e. there were 1kg tubs of honey for $15 and about 2 shelves away was the same honey but in 500g tubs for only $2.

Despite my best efforts my first shop came to a whopping $130 but then I guess the expensive stuff will last more than a week!! I haven’t really been up to much just working and training, I have met a top level tri athlete who is really keen to train with me. Always a bonus.

I went out for dinner the other night and found the friendliest Thai restaurant in the world (cheap too) if your water glass is half empty or half full depending on how you look at it they refill almost instantly, oddly enough they put no pressure on you to order a drink they are just happy your there. Emily goes a lot (they know her by name now and most time can predict what she will order). Also whilst there, I met some one called Laura who’s going to see if she can pull a few strings and get me a night in a 5 star hotel when I am in the south island with my own spa for $60 that is nothing compared to what it should cost!

Anyway I am going to go to sleep now as I seem to have contracted a nasty cold!!
