Blienheim, well we didn?t stop here long just passing though really, biding our time until the next day when we would be up early and ready to leave for the ferry, well if and early ferry trip ever appealed this one did, we were one of the fist cars to get there, one on board, it hadn?t hit 6 o?clock yet we got our sleeping bags and before the ferry even set off were in one of the seating rooms curled up by a row of seats fast asleep, one of the best sleeps ever. We awoke 3 hours later to find that we were docking on the north island and everyone around us complaining about throwing up and feeling sick. We were entirely oblivious of this. What a good crossing, the whole thing seemed to take about 10min! We drove home in one fowl swoop 9 hours of travel or something like that not to mention what we had already done this morning! Probably the furthest I have ever travelled in one day having been in control of my own vehicle.
