No idea what this picture is but its not Interlarken. Interlarken occupies a very stunning location at the foot of the alps between 2 lakes. It has very much a similar feel to Queenstown New Zealand in that it is an adventure capital that gives you every possible reason to empty you wallet, with Bungy, Whitewater rafting, Canyoning, Skydiving as well as the change to head up the Jungfrou (a 4000 metre peak in the alps) while as it is early in my trip i managed to resist the adventure sports although the temptation for another Bungy almost persuaded me i also want to do some whitewater rafting in Nepal and while the Alps are Pretty amazing the himilayas are the supposed to be the best rafting in the world.
Anyway i did head up to the highest Train station in europe at 3500 metres and took in some amazing views and also did quite a lot of hiking up there and also took thousands of pictures all absoulty amazing. but bloody tiring i was in bed by about 9:30. however i did get to see the tri nations and the all blacks scraping past a very unlicky south africa. How i am just about to head on out of town from here i head on to Luzern, before going on to Austria, slovenia, Coatia, Serbia, Hungry and into eastern europe. i have decided to scrap Italy from the itinary to get away from all the american tourists and try and get off the tourist track.
