Well I have to say Vilnius was a bit of a shock. i wasn't expecting much just a small old town to wander around for a couple of hours and not a lot else but i really loved the placed. its been without doubt one of my favorates so far. i was a bit confused at first as to why so many northerners were there until i found out that blackburn were actually playing in Vilnius in the first rounf\d of the intertoto cup. unfortunatl;y i was leaving on the night they played so couldn't go to see the game. The city it self is a delightful bunch of cobbled streets surronded by hills, i would have loved to spend a few days hiking around the hills but after 1 and a half days i was on the move again with an afternoon train to riga the so called heart of the Baltic
