We had a super lie in this morning and got ready at our own pace, we are checking out. The plan was to probably leave thailand today and go to Malaysia; but that was before we realised it was Songkran and we could do much, plus we stayed in the wrong part of Krabi, the town. It's dead here!
So we took a taxi over to Ao Nang and are staying there for two nights.
On the way into Ao Nang the car got soaked by people on the side of the road having water fights with one another and spraying the mopeds and cars as they went passed! This was more like it! A fun festival! It was sort of dead in Keabi Town for the festival not as much festival fun going on as we thought!
Tourists were joining in with their water pistols, it was quite funny to watch!

Our hostel isn't far from all the goings on, it's pretty modern and our beds were looking out at the balcony so we weren't cooped up with no day light. The dorm was a 16 berth but only about 7-8 of us in there so it was lovely and quiet!

We were going to book the 4 islands tour with a tour company down the road and the bus to Malaysia with them as well but the hostel sold it at the same price so we did it all there and finally had some well needed laundry done!
By now it was passed breakfast time so we had lunch at one of the street vendors with plastic stools just outside the hostel. The morning glory was delicious, I have to get a photo of Scott eating this food, he's eating a full plate of greens and loving it! He eats this willingly as well! He's a changed man.

It was only 1pm and the storm set in! Good job it set in just as we finished food and not as we were walking to the beach! That wouldn't have been fun.
The wind picked up out of no where, it was as though a hurricane was coming. Boards were falling over, plastic chairs sliding down the street! Bizzare weather here!
The storm was good, but not as impressive with the lightning as yesterday!
We went to the 7/11 and bought some chocolate to sit in and watch the rain. It felt like home.
Scott fancied running in the rain to get to the hostel, in flip flops, and fell over. Ironic thing is was that before he fell he said 'I'm going to put my kinder bueno in my pocket because last time it got crushed in the carrier bag by my milkshake' and then he fell on the same pocket his kinder bueno was in! Haha!
I wouldn't be a good girlfriend if I didn't laugh at him fall and ask if he was okay afterwards! Haha.

That was about it for the rest of the day for us. It rained all afternoon and Scott watched some film on his phone, he will never watch one I want to watch so I watched funny cat and dog clips on you tube, my afternoon was awesome.

Scott got talking this evening to a group of guys in the hostel from Canada. I don't think there are anyone left in Canada or China, they're all travelling Asia!
We went for dinner with them, they're a tidy bunch! They were writing everything we said down for tips on where to go next! Which is the norm when you meet people that have been the place your going to next.
