We were travelling to meet mum and Aunty Lynne today!
Me and Ross didn’t get in until 2.30am, pick up was at 5am... whoops!
We slept late, I must have unconsciously turned my alarm off at 4.30 and we had a knock at the door at 5am - our driver!
s***! I never got ready so fast! Quick pack and jumped on our big bus for just the four of us, the individual seats were lovely reclined so we all became unconscious very quickly again. Woke about 7.30am, dad had spotted the driver drinking from a glass bottle stored in his door, only Bacardi liquor.... what the f***.
We were all very awake after a quick stop for breakfast and after we realised what he had dipped on this morning. He wasn’t half erratic driving, then wanted to take us shopping in Jodphur before going to the airport because we were a little early. No thanks mate. I’d rather just get to the airport for or flight!
We got there in good time, good job too because they wanted my confirmation with our names on for the flight to match our passports before we had even stepped foot inside the airport. Panicking couldn’t get it so managed to get 3G and get on jet airways website and send the confirmation tickets to my email and download them. What an absolute palarva!
If that wasn’t enough, we got 20 metres inside the airport and before going through to check in gates we had to show them again. The entire airport was 50metres x 50 metres. Bloody tiny thing, it looked like t was controlled by the army though looking at all their uniforms.
Our plane, had propellers - great stuff! Not looking forward to this. Two sat each side of the plane and about 25 rows. Bloody tiny! Bumpy going up but it did manage to quieten down, and we were only in it for 1 and half hours. The landing was the fastest landing we had ever done, he smashed the little thing down! Absolutely s*** ourselves. Then he was definitely getting a speeding ticket whilst he was taxiing to the space to park, flying passed everyone!
Couldn’t wait to get off and see mum!! We weren’t long going through because we were domestic. They were waiting with our driver outside, they looked so well! It was a little emotional seeing them again! We chatted for pretty much the entire 4 hour journey to Agra in our bus. Stopped for a cheesy slice of pizza and got to Or lovey hotel about 6.30pm. A little different to what we were used to his holiday, even though we didn’t have minging hotels.
The Crystal Saravor Premiere, lush!
Quick shower and probably s*** and downstairs for some beer and grub!
The Agra fort tomorrow! Woohoo!
