We added an extra night in palolem for tonight, we love it here that much!
A trip to Agonda was on the cards this morning, reviews say it's a really nice beach (a bit like Palolem)
...no they're talking though their bums! It was dead there. No where near as busy as Palolem.
Don't get me wrong the beach was gorgeous, but there was no life, no fishing boats, no canoes, hardly any beach bars on the beach. There was no music, no life. Just quiet.
The tuk tuk man got Scott talking... we found out that he pays 50ruppees per litre of petrol and Goa is a tax free province, so that's why everything is so cheap! That litre lasts him 1-2 days depending on business.
We told Raj, Scott's new tuk tuk friend to pick us up at 4pm where he dropped us off. We quickly knew that was a mistake so we grabbed a taxi back to Palolem, Whoops! Sorry Raj. We topped up of the tan and a dip in the salty pond!
It's hot today, very hot.
So glad I unconsciously pointed the football premier league playlist board out today to Scott - not!* although in my defence I most definetly did read the top part of the board first... 'Buy one get one cocktail free' Muhahaha!
We headed out for one of many football games and had food in cafe del mar, and it was indeed very nice, as nice as it was for lunch! (I am in love with my Greek salads here! Although olives don't really taste as strong as they would at home)
Couldn't wait for the football, not. Scott keeps talking to me in what I call 'football language' I really can't understand it whatsoever, 'Van Persian done this and Rooney this and bla. Bla. Bla.' I do not understand.
To be honest it's all going over my head! In the time he's had 2 kingfishers, I have had 3 kingfishers and on my 2nd cocktail... That's how much I enjoy football!
I had the prawn Malaysian noodles for dinner, absolutely gorgeous! Must keep an eye out for that in Malaysia - I bet it tastes even better there!
Desperate for a game of pool, now Han and Jon have beaten us three times I need to get my practice in! Haha.
Oh, Scott had a moment today. He gave back to the animals. We see at least 15 dogs per day, today he decided he's going to give the dog underneath the empty sunbed next to us a drink of water; the dog was either mentally challenged or wanted him to piss off, but it would hardly drink out of the warm water bottle that we didn't want, in the end Scott put water on the bottom of my flip flop to give the dog water as it stayed in the grooves of my shoes! He's such a funny lad! Haha. (In the meantime I was enjoying VOCALLY Coldplay rule the world)
***Week one on the toilet subject - no apparent symptoms of the right to passage as of yet! Although we are pretty obsessive with hand gel! - Scott claims I'm rubbish at keeping track of where the hand gel is, he's taken charge of the hand gel! Haha.
*today had been a good day!*
Lots of love and best wishes H+J
