So yesterday we packed up early and headed out. We went to a tiny commonwealth cemetery near our Airbnb then headed out to Omaha beach. First stop was la cambe German cemetery. We saw the Bayeux tapestry which is a thousand years old. It’s a 70m long embroidery that tells the story of william the conqueror becoming king of England. So we are alive and made it to France. We were just a bit too tired to post last night. We made it to Halifax in good time. So good in fact we had enough time to stop at the masstown market for flight snacks and the big stop for supper.
