So today we left our wonderful Airbnb in comines. We stopped in dieppe to check out the cemetery, memorials, from the wwii raid.

From there we drove to Bayeux. We saw the Bayeux tapestry which is a thousand years old. It’s a 70m long embroidery that tells the story of william the conqueror becoming king of England. I was very surprised by how well it told the story. I would not believe it unless I saw it.

We then went to the battle of Normandy museum before checking out the cathedral.

Finally we checked into our Airbnb. It is less then ideal. Oh well, tomorrow night we are forgoing here and instead we will be staying in a hotel with a view of mont st Michel.
