Today We ditched the fam jam for the daylight hours. We went to heritage village which has a bunch of recreations of how people used to live in Abu Dhabi. It also had a small free museum that had all kind of artifacts. We found some cool old fashion shops that we bought some hand blown glass at.
We then went to a locals mall we found a purple Jalaba for Pamela. I envision myself coming down stairs next winter to find a little purple Druid sitting in my living room.
Then we went and relaxed at the hotel. I went to the hot tub on the roof. It was all right. Then we went to pick up the fam at the beach before we headed out to iftar at a swanky hotel. Iftar is late supper at the end of a day of fasting for muslims during Ramadan. The iftar at shangra la was good but because it was a buffet it was an excellent way to try many things. Yummy.
