So we have started the day with a trip to the ethiad tower. It was way more relaxed than the burj Khalifa. We walked around the outside taking pictures. We then sat in some super comfy chairs looking out for a while. It was very nice.
After that we just basically stopped at a mall and super market got some food came back to the apartment and cooked it up in secret for lunch as your not allowed to eat in public for Ramadan. Who knows what if anything we will do this afternoon. This evening we are going out to the desert for supper and a show.

So I have decided to edit this post rather than do a new one as it’s been so long. That afternoon we all just hung out in Mom and Dad s suite until it was time to go on the desert trip.

The desert trip was good though it took a long bus ride to get there. It was just the right amount of time. We arrived looked around a bit. Saw the sunset. Some other people climbed the dunes or rode a camel. We all ate at low tables and sat on cushions on the ground and ate Emirati food. I have not been impressed by Emirati food. It is fine but not great. Luckily there is lots of Indian and Lebanese Middle Eastern food which is quite good. Anyway after dinner we had a show. A fire dancer and a whirling dervish it was all good. It was clearly a set piece but it still felt authentic in someway.
