We enjoyed the rest of the evening with the Nile floating by our hotel room last night. We woke up in edfu. We saw the temple there that was very large and well preserved. It was apparently a temple dedicated to winning a war over the hittites with green eyes and short beards and nubians with curly hair and from Africa. Then we continued by minibus to komobo. We again started our day at 330. This time we were going on a hot air balloon ride over Luxor and the valley of the kings. It was an hour long flight and it was getting hot towards the end of it. I liked it and enjoyed thinking about how the first people to fly like this would have felt like and how basic this concept of flight was. Pamela loved every minute of it. Today started stupid early after an hour or two of sleep we headed to the airport around 215. We then dropped off the rental car and headed to arrivals.
