So yesterday the labrador ferry was horrible. It pitched back and forth so much that although neither Trapper or I got sick neither of us felt well. Neither of us ate much for the afternoon as even when we were off the boat we were still queezy. Anyway, we drove through a lot of fog and arrived at our camper for a good nights sleep.
Today we got up and went for a hike to the boat that does of Western Brook Pond Fjord. The cliffs on both sides of the pond go so high right away and you are almost totally surronded by cliffs and mountains. We were quite tired when we were all done. We didn't expect the hike to be as long as it was. And we stood out on the deck for the entire boat trip. We were tired when we got back but the scenery on the boat tour was amazing.
After that we went to the visitor centre and did some small stops on our way to a guided tour of the lobster point lighthouse. It was lovely and turned out to be only Pamela and I on the tour so, that was even better. From there we went back to the camper to relax and play crib for the evening. I taught Pamlea to play crib but I realized my recollection of the rules is a little rust too.
