Today we headed west to Kanchanaburi - Luckily our guest house in Ayutthaya was a short walk from the bus station, so after a lazy morning we got a shiny, happy disco bus! After a stop and a change of bus we arrived in Kanchanaburi at around 4pm and got a tuk tuk straight to a guest house we'd picked from the book! The place we stayed in was called Sams River Raft guesthouse and as sugguested by the name is right on the River Kwai! After we'd checked in and sorted ourselves out, we headed along the main street and found a travel agent so we could book a tour for tomorrow (River Kwai & war tour) and also so we could book transport to go down south for thursday. After we'd sorted out our booking we had a look around and then found a bar where we had dinner whilst watching the Last Samauri and Love Actually!
