After a long public bus trip we arrived in Cambodia and its capital city. We had free time here so me and Rikki decided to go to bar which turned out to be a prostitute bar. Old lonely western men would sit in dark corners fiddling with themselves whilst young women would go sit with them! We drank up and left. Our tour guide is from Cambodia so he had arranged for us to go to his friends house for tea. Before we sat down for food we had a quick English lesson with the local kids. I was arguing with a 12 year old as he supported man utd. I think I taught him how to swear. My bad. The food was awesome. They offered us a shot of rice wine after which had triantulas in the bottom of the bottle. I couldn't drink thankfully under doctors orders!

The next day we went to the killing fields which still contained bones and old peices of clothing from people who had been murdered. It was essentially an Asian aushwitz. Very sad.

The next day we drove to the middle of nowhere to which we would have our home stay. It was a house on stilts and we all stayed in the one and only room on the floor. Wild chickens, buffalo, cows and dogs ran about the place and were noisy all night. The owner was a bit annoyed the next day as a snake had eaten his chicken. Ha.

We are now in Siem Reap and go to Angkor Wat tomorrow.
