Day 29 - Kakadu Wow, talk about thousands of mozzies. After killing many mozzies before we went to bed we were woken up at 2am and were still awake at 5am trying to kill them. Day 28 - Kakadu Gungurul to Merl Campground (177km / 3hrs) We left our campsite at Gungurul at 8:15am and our first stop was Anbangbang Billabong but unfortunately I got Rog lost. We were up at 5:30am this morning to go on the Yellow Water billabong sunrise cruise. The cruise went for 2 hours and winds its way through the yellow water billabong and south alligator river. It was a pretty sunrise over the billabong and there was a lot of smoke (from the fires in the national park) and fog to add to the ambience.
