Back in Cusco!

I GOT INTO MACHU PICCHU!! YAY!! :D :D

Got up at 4.30am ready for breakfast. Left at 6am to get the bus up to Machu Picchu.
Was so nervous as was really hoping I'd be able to get in. Brought a copy of my passport and my driving licence and luckily they accepted it. Was so happy!!
It started to rain but luckily it didn't rain for long, phew! Didn't want to have to get my raincoat out!
It was so cloudy so it was hard to take good photos. But managed to take a few once the clouds cleared every so often. Had a guided tour for about 3 hours then we went off on our own to explore some more. Walked around for 5 hours in total. It was really beautiful and so interesting.

Took us ages to find the way out! Got there in the end! Managed to get a stamp before leaving. Will cut it out and glue it to my passport when I get the chance to. The two girls I was with would have forgotten if it wasn't for me so it was lucky for them that I was with them :p

Got the bus back down and had some lunch and just chilled before getting the train back to Ollantaytambo. Another beautiful scenic journey. Once we arrived at Ollantaytambo we got a bus back to Cusco. It felt like it was forever on the bus lol! Finally arrived at Cusco, said goodbye to our G adventures guide, Rosabeth. Got my backpack from the luggage storage and had never been so happy to see my passport again! Will never lose sight of it ever again! Definitely learnt my lesson lol!
