Today's the start of a very long journey ahead of me! Didn't sleep too badly last night thankfully. Let's hope I can survive until Friday evening New Zealand time :p Got a flight to La Paz, it was very short, only under an hour. The airport in Sucre is tiny considering it's the capital of Bolivia! Not a lot to do around here but it had wifi which helped :p La Paz is so much better than Sucre, I wish we had more time here but never mind! I can always come back...

Had another easy day today. Went to the park and just chilled for a few hours reading. I caught the sun and I forgot my sun cream, oops! I was just minding my own business when a Bolivian man approached me and made me a flower for no reason, bless him! It got so so hot after a long while so decided to walk around and went to the main market and looked around as well as in shops. Nothing very exciting. Apparently La Paz has a really good market so I look forward...

Had an easy day today. It was so so hot! The roads were still closed because of the car racing. In fact as soon as I stepped out of the hotel a car went racing right past me! I totally didn't expect that lol!! Went to the park and just chilled for a bit before going to La Recoleta. Because of the road closures I had to find alternative ways but managed to get there. Now in Sucre, the capital of Bolivia. What a morning it was!! Picked up by a coach at 5am. Drove on for just under 3 hours I think. I slept most of the way! Then we were at a standstill. The main road to Sucre was closed because of a car race! So we had to get all our bags and walk for about an hour. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, I just walked as fast as I could as I just wanted to get there and get it over with! Many people struggled though, bless ...

There were pancakes for breakfast! Yummy. Visited the memorial place for miners. The richer the miner's family was, the better plot the miner had. There was one really exclusive plot for a few miners who obviously had really rich families. Many of them had only died recently, from 30 years ago up until now.
