Today was the last full day in Cusco before flying back to Lima tomorrow. Had a nice easy morning, didn't have to rush for anything which was nice. Although I did get up at 6.30am! Back in Cusco! I GOT INTO MACHU PICCHU!! YAY!! :D :D Got up at 4.30am ready for breakfast. Left at 6am to get the bus up to Machu Picchu. Was so nervous as was really hoping I'd be able to get in. In Cusco! What a lovely little place it is. It's much cooler here but lovely and warm with the sun. Reminds me of the UK in spring/early summer. Had the best sleep in ages last night! A shame it wasn't long enough. Left for the airport at 7am. So I was back at the airport less than 12 hours later lol! Met and spoke to some of the group. There are a mixture of nationalities.
