Arriving in Wanaka, we checked into Base, before that evening heading down to the attached bar for $6 Fish and Chips... great value!! After a couple of cheeky beers there was another Killer Pool competition happening, and with far fewer people I actually had a chance this time! So much so that, despite a fluke or two, I won!! The prize was a river boarding trip in Queenstown- I'd have preferred the 5 free nights accomodation in Queenstown that we thought the prize was, but never mind!!!!

Next morning we went off to Puzzling World, a cool little place where there were all kinds of different illusions and a giant 3D Maze, which I managed to finish in 24 minutes, not bad I'm told!!! Next, on the bus, we were told that we could do our Nevis Bungy that afternoon if we wanted!! Figuring it was best just to get it done, I signed up... and slowly pooped myself!!!

After stopping at a cool fruit and veg store, we reached the 45th Parallel... officially marking the bottom half of the bottom half of the world!! Apparently only 5% of the world's population ever go there!! Then it was back onboard and heading for Queenstown.
