We got up at 6am and headed to Baramundi Gorge to do a walk and then go in the plunge pools. Some of the guys jumped off the rocks so I decided to brave it and went up to one of the rock edges and then failing to find the courage to jump sat down on it whilst the guys below gave me encouragement. After what felt like ages I went to the edge and jumped. After I jumped off the ledge it felt great so I went and did it again. The tour guide Luke and Marc (the Irish guy) jumped off the rock edge at the top of the Gorge which was about three times higher than the one I did which looked very scary! Marc said it had felt like he was falling for ages.
We then drove to Anbangbang to look at the Aboriginal Rock art there. We learnt all about how the colours were made and about the different styles of drawings, which was really interesting and then we walked up to the top of the gorge for some amazing views. We could see for miles and the land was so flat and you could see other gorges in the distance. We then stopped off at a nature reserve to look at the birds and try to spot birds. We then drove to Aurora to camp for the night. The resort felt like a holiday camp as it had a pool and a bar so we had a dip then bought some drink for the evening.
We had chicken stir fry for dinner then listened to music and chatted and played games.
