Arrived in late afternoon, had a swim (with a small shark in the shallows), drove around Roo spotting for Blase (seen a few, Roo selfies done). Weather turned, best lightning storm weve ever seen, lightning strikes in front of the pub we were in, power out, eating by phone light....drove to the high ground ...

Airlie, heading South. North Queenslands was tropical, green, lush and quiet...the bugs are getting less, not so many geckos. As we left Cairns, Airlie was busy, alot more happening, great atmosphere, found a great bar for pool, good prices for grub and beer! Beer pong contests nightly! Winner. Did a xmas recce, think the guys will love it. Sail boat booked for trip out to Whitsundays, buzzin! We cant wait for the girls and guys to join us on the 22nd! Woop...
