Adelaide, Flight to Perth, Camper van tour begins
Melbourne and the Hostel are long gone...back to the comfort of a hotel (price of a melbs hostel, win win ), Mich is a happy camper! First day was spent walking, exploring Adelaide and the surrounding parks. Small city, very green, great facilities, and Hot.
Day 2 was a wine tour to the barossa valley, happy days! Picked up from our hotel, and driven to 5 different vin yards. Well known by all you wino's for its Shiraz mainly, but we sampled all sorts, including sparkling reds (not our thing), and decades old pricey port....lush, not for the travellers budget though. Having necked mine and most of Mich's, probably ended about right, early evening and back to Adelaide for a bite to eat, with lager (wined out).
Day 3 was more exploring, including the tram down to Brighton and Glenelg beaches. Sea was nippy but crystal clear, sun was blazing, bit of nosh on the beach, ball games in the sea and tram back to Adelaide. Day 4 and we flew to Perth, picked up the camper and headed for Fremantle for our first trip in WA, to Rottnest Island. Missed our first ferry to Rottnest, and got in the wrong camper at the camp site...hello Perth! Speak soon, night night! Tomoz is the Pinnacles.
