I woke up in the morning and half the eye was blood shot and it still hurt so I was starting to worry a bit. I phoned my agency to find out where the nearest hospital was and headed there. Claire had hurt her food while drunk over the wkend so she came along to get that checked out. As with any hospital you expect a wait so I took a book and my ipod along, Claire didn’t bother but then as we were waiting for hours she kept on huffing and saying she was bored etc...I offered my ipod but she rathered just sitting there and moaning. I went off for a CT scan of my head and she had an x-ray of her foot. About 2pm the doc came back to her and said her foot was fine, just bruised - she decided to leave - I was actually quite relieved cos she was p1ssing me off!! Another hour or two I sat there and the young doctor came back and said - 'the scan shows you’ve got multiple fractures around the cheek and eye area' to which I cursed quite a few times in my head and then felt pretty faint.
