We had decided to make a little detour and visit Wave Rock. We had heard about this, but when we looked at the maps it was sort of on the way to nowhere, therefore you have to detour 100klms or so to get to it. We were so glad because we had a great time and the rock is fantastic. Its about 100 metres long and 15 metres high, so its not small.
On the way to Wave Rock we made another detour to take in the Tin Horse Highway. This highway is only about 30klms long and is dotted with themed horses made from tin barrels by various farmers. It is absolutely hilarious and there is dozens of these horses every couple of hundred metres. The funniest part was that Jo-anne was swooped by a magpie, he didn't quite get her the first time but when we got a couple hundred metres up the road to take another photo, he got her good and proper. She thought he had drawn blood, but there was no bleeding, just a sore head. I couldn't get her out the car to take photos after that and all photos were taken through the window of the car.
