So today is Saturday the 22nd. How crazy. I was just looking and I think we've been gone about 17 days or something. We spent about 3 or 4 hours wandering around seeing the sights in central Berlin today. Pictures to come later when the internet is cheaper and faster.

We were both surprised that we could see all the major attractions in a day, but then again, you see whatever you have time to see and call that good. We started off with the Reichstag or parliament building, saw the sony center, legoland, the Holocaust memorial, and then there were a bunch of domes and old school buildings thrown in there as well.

Tonight the plan is to head to a local night club around 11 pm, when things apparently just get started, and try to see some US headliners and hip hop artists and djs. I'm super excited and I hope we get in! They're having a huge music/business festival called PopComm going on right now so we definitely lucked out on the timing.

Our hostel is super cool, but it's definitely a litle bit of a shock going from a two sink marble floored bathroom and double beds all to ourselves in a sweet pad in Amsterdam, to coming back to bunk beds and grunge bathrooms with a smoking area right next to the computers. Gotta love it though! We met a really cool girl from South Africa who told us all about Berlin and the night life so she's been a good source of information. People and their knowledge are definitely a benefit of communal living.
