Friday 21st Dec
As it was our last day in St Kilda, we decided to do bit of packing. We did alot of praying that we could fit everything into our backpacks after spending few extra stuff!
We then decided to do the laundry to prepare for our christmas break so we don't have to worry about the hassles of washing our clothes!
Following the advice for Daniel's knee, meaning no backpack on his back! So we went off shopping, in search for the trolley where you can put the backpack on and wheel it around, like a suitcase on wheels. We found one and bought it. We then returned back to the hostel and continued to sort out the laundry and putting it back into our backpacks. It was a miracle that we managed to fit everything (Clotheswise!) but for other stuff, unfortunately we had to carry it in extra bags.
For rest of the day and evening, as usual we were watching TV and films!
Saturday 22nd Dec
We checked out but we stayed and hung around in the hostel, sorting Daniel's backpack onto the trolley. We didn't have to leave St Kilda till early evening as our coach to Sydney wasn't till 7pm.
We had a text from a friend of a friend asking if we could meet up in the morning but unfortunately due to reading the text too late, it left us no preparation to get to Melbourne in time to meet up. So we had to leave it in the end. We are hoping that we will be able to meet up with her later in the new year.
We just spent our time watching a couple of films and decided to make our way to Melbourne as we were getting bored of staying in! We got to Melbourne a couple of hours early, so we made our way to the coach terminal and just waited in the waiting room for a hour. Daniel went off to the shop to grab few bits and bobs for something to eat on our journey to Sydney.
We made our way to the coach bay and waited for a while. While we were waiting, the lady approached to us and asked if we were deaf. We confirmed it and was bit confused till she explained that she was deaf too. Finally we got to meet a deaf aussie!! We had a chat for a while as she was waiting for her friend to arrive. Sign language between us was bit different but we managed to have conversations.
We finally boarded onto the coach and got prepared for the uncomfortable sleep on our journey. Within 15mins journey, Lisa realised that she have forgotten to take out the contact lenses solution and case for her lenses. Unfortunately it meant that she had to wear it through the night. She could throw it out but she didn't want to waste her money on the lenses so she had no choices!
We setted off to get some sleep but it wasn't that comfortable. We did stop few times for food/toliet breaks which we grabbed cuppa of tea for our needs.
