Tuesday 11th Dec

We were up fairly early as Lisa had to go back to Optician to pick up her new contact lenses. She had another eyes test to ensure that they were the correct lenses.

She had 2 months worth of the lenses as she can't really afford to buy 6 months worth. We were only in there for 10mins which was so quick, comparing to her last test.

After that, we decided to browse around the markets again to see if Daniel could find the shorts he would want to have. No luck there unfortunately.

We then made our way to the post office to post the parcel for Lisa's sister containing her request of Ugg Boots. All sorted and out of the way.

We returned and had our lunch, using all the foods that we had leftover such as Pasta mixed up with little sauce and tuna added to it, rice with fried eggs chopped up with mayonaise and finally we had potatoes leftover so we fried them to make it into tasty and crispy! We had been lucky few times with the free food shelf that they have in hostels where peeps could give food away if they didn't want it. So far we managed to find a big bar of cadburys choc, tins of baked beans, tea bags, sugar, jam, ham, and all sorts etc. Our fave was the apple pie that we found today in the fridge. We grabbed it and certainly made the most of it!!

Its our last stay in Melbourne before going to St Kilda tomorrow. We are quite looking forward to it but definately looking forward to having our own private bedroom in Sydney for Christmas and New Year!
