Ten years ago today, I was five years old. I remember going to Grammy Pammy and Papa Curry's house instead of kindergarten because something had happened that mum had heard on the radio. We watched a little T.V. on the counter that was showing an airplane flying into a tall building. I watched it replay over and over. Of course I didn't realise there were actually people in the building (I didn't think that much then). Now, ten years later, seeing all the thousands of flags in the park I have become aware of the great loss of life. The tragedy of those events finally made sense - although they do not make sense! It was very sad.
