Yesterday we "did" Barkerville with our fabulous tour guide Eden, who went there on a Grade 6 field trip (missed you Lynne and Sylvie!). It was a chilly day, but we got there early and did it all... we went to school, to court, to the water wheel, hung out with the blacksmith, drank the most expensive coffee ever, and watched a wonderful drama of hope and courage at the Royal Theatre in the evening. It was a long day, but a good one.
Still at the Bee Lazee RV park in Prince George. The truck is fixed (at no expense to us as it was installer error), but now Tim is troubled with the trailer... of course he has been talking to all the other men who hang about talking to all the other men.... who have the same kind of trailer with the same kind of axels... Good thing we are in no hurry!
Bear count is up to 4. Swimming happens even in the rain.

Grama-Belle So is the trailer going to keep you longer in Prince George? Pray all turns out well! It has been so very long since I have been to Barkerville I couldn't remember weather it was east of Quenelle or Williams Lake. Actually found it on my Travel Map. That was quite a day! Enjoyable though, right?? Glad you are having a good trip. Love reading your comments. Eden was a good travel guide. (Keep counting the bears, Eden!!) Are the mosquitoes becoming less as you travel south??
Lynne I love Barkerville!! You are so lucky to have a beautiful tour guide! love you! Lynne
Suzie-Q if you think you had your most expensive coffee there you should try at the Chateau Lake Louise.... $8.... 10 years ago! :-/
