Spent the last few days in Auckland. We had a apartment overlooking the bay which was ace. Our bags didn't make it from Sydney so we had to wait for a day for them to arrive before we could change our clothes (nice). Went for lunch one day in the revolving restaurant in the Sky Tower. The food was lovely and we had an excellent view of the city. Some people were jumping off the tower attached to a wire (crazy people), they flew straight past where we were having our lunch. We went on a harbour cruise which was really interesting, we found out some of the history of Auckland and saw some of the sights, afterwards we went for a cocktail in a bar called Minus 5. The warmest it gets is Minus 5!! We had to get wrapped up in big coats and gloves and we were only allowed to stay in there for 25 minutes because its so cold. There are loads of ice sculptures and the seat and glasses are made out of ice. It was really cool :-) Also had a Brazillian BBQ which was brill, we both ate far too much though...
