Hi Everyone We are finally back in the UK...boooooo.......we came back to some fabulous weather...not.....we are already talking about our next trip...Peru is top of the list. Anyway - we just wanted to say thanks to everyone who has left us messages and emails while we have been away, its been really good to keep in contact with everyone and we hope you enjoyed our pics and journal entries. Hi Both Was good to speak to you on xmas day, had my hands full with Jasmin Rose. She is soooo small, smaller than what Spencer was! The house is officially in my name only now, woooo hoooo. Been painting yesterday and moving some more stuff in. I just want to be in and sorted now. Spencer has a new game - when we put him to bed he says "ave poo-ed" so we get him back up and find out he hasnt he just wants to get back up. Cheeky Monkey..... i cant beleive i am in work, so tired.. been burning the candle at both ends. Spencer has ran into nursery to show every one his fireman sam helicopter, it has been attached to him since xmas day. I have been thinking of new year resolutions- 1. I am going to try and text less 2. I am going to wear matching underware (apparently single chicks are supposed too!) 3. I am going to drink less so i can at least remember my nites out Thats all i have came up with for now. well got to look as tho i am doing some work. WOOOO HOOOO ya coming home soon........... xxx

It sounds as if you had a good birthday, it must have been very special in Rome. did you enjoy your Chianti and did you have it with fava beans?? it is lovely to see all the messages from everyone and to know they are thinking of you. Glad to hear you liked the card I thought it would get you in the mood for Paris but hope we get a better show than that. I have been busy these past 24 hours with the two little elves Nick talked about. We set off today to meet all from Ilminster to do the present swap but had to turn back due to fog and a blocked A303. All send their love to you both and wish you a very happy time on Christmas day, wallowing in all that Bordeaux.

Hi everyone, thanks for all of my birthday messages, its good to know I havent been forgotten!!!! I had a lovely day, we spent a day sight seeing in Rome and then had a lovely Italian meal with some Chianti....Very nice...... We head off to Marseille tomorrow and then start a drive up to Paris for New Year stopping in Bordeaux for Christmas, where I am sure we will be forced to try the local specialities....its a hard life :-) We wanted to wish everyone a Happy Christmas, and hope everyone has a great New Year. Hope santa is good to you all, we havent seen him in Italy so he must be on his way to the UK. Take care Jim and Simone xxx

Out of sight but not out of mind, as we have remembered your birthday Jim and it sounds like you'll have a really special time. After Helsinki it must be nice to be warm and we are envious of the way you casually say Rome next. Granners arrived today and we all join in saying happy Birthday, not sure where you will be for Christmas but New Year is looming up fast and I know Mum and Dad are getting excited about seeing you.
