Simone and Jim Hi Everyone We are finally back in the UK...boooooo.......we came back to some fabulous weather...not.....we are already talking about our next trip...Peru is top of the list. Anyway - we just wanted to say thanks to everyone who has left us messages and emails while we have been away, its been really good to keep in contact with everyone and we hope you enjoyed our pics and journal entries. Sarah & Spencer Hi Both Was good to speak to you on xmas day, had my hands full with Jasmin Rose. She is soooo small, smaller than what Spencer was! The house is officially in my name only now, woooo hoooo. Been painting yesterday and moving some more stuff in. I just want to be in and sorted now. Spencer has a new game - when we put him to bed he says "ave poo-ed" so we get him back up and find out he hasnt he just wants to get back up. Cheeky Monkey..... i cant beleive i am in work, so tired.. been burning the candle at both ends. Spencer has ran into nursery to show every one his fireman sam helicopter, it has been attached to him since xmas day. I have been thinking of new year resolutions- 1. I am going to try and text less 2. I am going to wear matching underware (apparently single chicks are supposed too!) 3. I am going to drink less so i can at least remember my nites out Thats all i have came up with for now. well got to look as tho i am doing some work. WOOOO HOOOO ya coming home soon........... xxx

mum and dad It sounds as if you had a good birthday, it must have been very special in Rome. did you enjoy your Chianti and did you have it with fava beans?? it is lovely to see all the messages from everyone and to know they are thinking of you. Glad to hear you liked the card I thought it would get you in the mood for Paris but hope we get a better show than that. I have been busy these past 24 hours with the two little elves Nick talked about. We set off today to meet all from Ilminster to do the present swap but had to turn back due to fog and a blocked A303. All send their love to you both and wish you a very happy time on Christmas day, wallowing in all that Bordeaux.

Simone and Jim Hi everyone, thanks for all of my birthday messages, its good to know I havent been forgotten!!!! I had a lovely day, we spent a day sight seeing in Rome and then had a lovely Italian meal with some Chianti....Very nice...... We head off to Marseille tomorrow and then start a drive up to Paris for New Year stopping in Bordeaux for Christmas, where I am sure we will be forced to try the local specialities....its a hard life :-) We wanted to wish everyone a Happy Christmas, and hope everyone has a great New Year. Hope santa is good to you all, we havent seen him in Italy so he must be on his way to the UK. Take care Jim and Simone xxx

After Helsinki it must be nice to be warm and we are envious of the way you casually say Rome next. Nick, Em, Zack & Jacob Happy Birthday Jim for tomorrow. We hope you have a great day to cap off such a memorable year! Sounds like fun hopping around Europe, cant believe your nearly coming home! Not enough time in the day here at the moment, I'm working everyday so the evenings are very busy! We've got two very excited little elfs here at the moment who cant wait until Santa comes down the chimney!

Sarah & Spencer Hi Both pics are fab.... Well went on the Santa Train on Sunday ( not good when you have been out the nite before) It was so cold, all four of us were well wrapped up. It was a proper old fashioned steam train and you sat in a cabin with other people, our Spencers face when the train started was so funny ( we have pics). It made a noise (choo choo) and Spencer shouted "Thomas". we were only onit about 15 minutes (which was long enough). We then went into to see Santa, Spencer only spoke when it was time to go and he said "bye". ( Took his present pretty sharpish tho). They has little activities for the kids to do and we then went to have a cup of tea. The whole thing is run by volunters, how cool is that. I would defo do it again. got to go... will email you bout my weekend x

Sarah & Spencer Hi Both Our Simone i cant wait for you to get back to work so i can get distracted from doing my work and email you all the time!!! You will be pleased to know Spencer is a lot better, he hasnt used the inhaler for two nights in a row.... which is good for both of us- i dont have to beg and bribe him and he doesnt get upset. He is doing really well with telling us he needs a wee but still hides when he has a poo- it must be a male thing cos he takes a book with him while hiding!!! haha I am taking him on the Santa Train on Sunday, i think i am more excited than him. Ill let you know how it goes. (Apparently it is the real santa!) me mam and nana are coming along aswel. And of course there is christmas day to look forward to, all the family in one room around one table..........think ill be hitting the vodka early on christmas morning, at least there will be a chance i will forget all about xmas day!!!! well got to go and do some work... take care xx

Nick, Em, Zack & Jacob Just a quick note to thank you both for your hard work in Hong Kong. The parcel arrived really quickly, but funnily enough I haven't had much time to use it yet! Japan sounds really interesting, not to sure I like the idea of no-one speaking any english though. I'd better stick to the med. Really busy here working late on tuesdays and now open on sundays aswell. Zack can speak really well now, I now have regular phone conversations with him whilst at work! Em is going to try and get him out of nappies next!! Jacob is brilliant during the night, but doesn't sleep much in the day, poor Em looks forward to 6'0 clock and bathtime!
