Zvi Josef's Travels
Last night was rather unbareable. The hotel was holding a party to the local Cricket team and the techno bass noise pounded through our room until 5AM, despite us complaining about it.
Today was all about flights, though.
We got up at 8:45, had a quick breakfast and shower and headed to the domestic airport with a complimentary hotel car.
Our flight from Jaipur to New Delhi took less than half an hour and then we were rushed to the international terminal to get to the next flight (from New Delhi to Chennai). This was rather funny, as the air line guy that assisted us asked us to put his tip in a piece of paper and give it to him. Lovely... .
The flight to Chennai was supposed to be 2.5 hours long, but due to some major conjestion at the airport, we circled the airport for over half an hour before landing.
We then were kinda scared that we'd have to go through immigrations and customs before re-entering India, while our visas were only valid for 2 entries. Anyway, all was fine, eventually.
We then took an old looking taxi to our hotel, where the receptionist did his best NOT to upgrade us to a junior suite. That did not work for him. :)
Now we're lounging in the nice executive lounge, with some drinks and lots of food.
Tomorrow we're off to see the city.
C'ya! :)
