This morning, we took the hotel's car and went to Chennai's newly opened domestic airport (it was actually opened today!). :)
We then took a one-hour flight to Bangalore, and took our prepaid taxi for a 90-minute drive to our hotel.
Of course we were upgraded to a suite (despite the hotel being a novotel, where upgrades are scares.
We then took our taxi to town, to see the main governmental buildings, a local park, a nice church (there was a wedding there when we arrived, so we hung around a bit), to the bangalore castle (which is a rip-off - they take a lot of money for just taking photos of the lovely castle) - where a movie was being filmed, and finished the day off in the botanical gardens of the city.
All in all, we finished off Bangalore in like 5 hours.
We then returned to the hotel for some lounging and dinner.
Now we're off to bed - all excited about tomorrow - when we're off to the REAL vacation - the Maldives! :)
