School was pretty good today, only had 4 classes for 4th grade students- korean age about 11, so 9yrs old here! In korea you are 1 when you are born then you grown 1 year older with the new year! So im 24 in Korea! There is a little boy in one of these classes who reminds me of Jake...he is so animated and did a little dance for me to one of the english songs we were singing! He's a bit of a character! After lunch I had one class with 5th grade students. More signing autographs today, given korean cookies and told how beautiful I am hahahaha! Its a hard life in korea! I think they like my pale skin and blue eyes- see pale is good ahaha! Classes for me finish at 1:40 except for wed and fri, so after that we have to plan our lessons for the next day, faff about on the computers and rest . On a wed from 3pm I will teach the other teachers english- kackin my pants! and on a fri I have a 2 classes between 3 and 5:20 with students who have lived in America for a few years and want to remember more things and get better at english. In this class I also have a little turkish girl who cant speak much english or korean they want me to try and give her extra tutoring. Extra money for me for these classes so suits me I suppose, just a bit scary! I will start these classes next week.
I brought my little scottish teddy bear dressed in a kilt today to give to Sunnys (science teacher) daughter Habi who is 6 ( so 4) years old....so cute!! Like Becca Boo! She was so pleased! After school sunny invited me out for a western style dinner at The Outback steak house at Suwon station with Habi and Eunju too. The food was fantastic! Will def be back! Habi sang to me all the way there in the car, she has a CD in the car with English songs on it to help her learn. "Do a deer a female dear, Ray a drop of Golden sun..." and "B.I.N.G.O and Bingo was his name" hahaha! A star in the makin I think. Everytime im in the car with her now she asks sunny to put the CD on so I will sing with her- not much persuasion needed ofcourse!!

Lunch was a bit interesting today, its becoming a bit of a challenge hhmm! BOKE! The soup had crab legs and god knows what else in it, I tried not to look! I managed some of the liquid but I couldnt force myself to tackle a leg or bit of...whatever it was! The other dish was little Octopus (Octopii??? I dunno) in a spicy sauce you could see the sucker pads on their tentacles....eeeekkkk! No thanks! so I filled up on rice and Fruit!
After school the teachers in my room took me out for dinner as a welcoming party! We had Kalbi which is a Korean beef or pork dish- we had both. They bring the meat to the table marinated in lots of yummy things then you cook it on the BBQ thats fitted into your table, its so nice because you can cook it as much as you like! Once again you can put it into the leaf and add in a little red pepper paste- its delicious! Def my favourite so far! Tried a dish that the koreans like to eat in the summer- its basically freezing cold noodles! The bowl the bring it in is full of ice and its in a kind of flavoured liquid- cant say I loved it! The other kind of noodle was much nicer, it was very very spicy and they had a good ol laugh when I took too much because too my surprise the spice doesnt really kick in until a few minutes after!
Afterwards we went round the corner to a Karaoke room, the building is just split into lots of small rooms (bout 10ppl) with Karaoke machines disco lights etc hahaha! Im fitting right in girls hahaha! Had to do it sobar tho still not a drop of alcohol...my beer or maybe I should say wine-belly has almost vanished hahaha! I sang a little bit of Madonna and some Beatles and was extremely embarrassed when Sunny asked me to sing Memories with her because its her fav, and then she didnt sing!! haaha! Tricked! The evening was finished off with some green tea- who'd have thought it eh! Shaznie drinkin green tea after a session at the karaoke!
