Well, I got back from Easter Island yesterday, and what a great trip it was. Here are a few of the details. I got there in the evening and was greeted by the entire town on the Island. They all seem to own hotels and want you to stay in them. I got a camping site and set up camp before it got dark. Walked around the south end of the Island on Monday, a total walk of 9 hours. Well, I am not on Easter Island as I write this, but I am going there on the 25th (this Sunday) and doubt I will have very much computer access.
