I just flew over Mexico city yesterday, and I have never seen anything like it. I looked out both windows of the plane and could not see either end of the city. Massive. It also happened to be Mexican Independence last night, so half of the city was shut down, cabs were not running into the centre, and the train was not running to half of the stops either. Nuts.
