The initial plan was to go to Paraty to chill and save money for carnival but there were no buses so we would have to go the next day.

Earlier we had already had a nightmare finding are way from the small bus station we got dropped at to the massive airport sized bus station where we had to get the bus to Paraty.

Anyway the once you get used to it the metro station is easy and reliable. We got off the train and it pissed down we were absolutely drenched, we found the hostel and got dry.

Sao Paulo is the 3rd biggest city in the world so we had no intention of going on a wonder. We will be returning on the 15th of March for are flight to Bolivia, so we found a local bar and got a tiny bit merry.

We woke the next day to the worse breakfast I had ever seen and left for a 6 hour bus.
