It was the last day in Victoria State of Australia, we decided against going to the great ocean road as there was some commuciation breakdown between Bundy and Ashley as Bundy said he texted him but Ashley didnt recieve any message and the weather was not nice today with all these rain dropping down so we all decided to sleep in and wash our clothes in preperation of New Zealand. We emptied our cereals as it was no need to keep them as we were going to fly off early morning. I put the remaining cereal leftover on the 'free food' shelf which i am sure someone would take advantage of! After our washing was ready, we put it in the dryer which only took 30 minutes which was quicker than i expected. I went back to the room and i almost forgetten that we needed to post off our remaining presents for families and friends from Australia so i gathered rest of the group and we sorted out our own stuff packing the delicate stuff such as my midori bottle wrapped in my 'I love Australia T-shirt' which i bought for 27 Dollars for 700ml which was not too bad...We went downstairs to enquire about the post office and got the directions, funnily enough it was only around 400 metres away from our hostel so we carried our things to the post office and decided on a cardboard box for three of us, Charlene and Dominic wanted to do their own. Our faces dropped when we saw the cost of sending our things to UK....90 dollars each making it 270 dollars in total. However we all agreed that we were glad to have bought these things as it would be worth it seeing our families and friends faces when they open them! I feel for Charlene mainly as she had to pay 170 dollars on her own. We went back to the hostel and sorted out our remaining laundry to be folded and packed...yes a boring domestic job but hey, someone has to do it :) i was elated to discover that there were free pancakes on offer in my hostel so i waited until 7pm to have these! we all ate the pancakes. Asher and me wanted to go to the Docklands to have a look while others didnt want to go so we went to the Docklands via tram, once we got there, the shops were not open and it seemed to be deserted but we saw some lovely views such as night lights and the bridge. We messed about and took some pictures of us leaping up and down! We saw a photo-booth in the crown enterainment complex centre days before so we wanted to go back and go on it so we walked back from the Docklands to the Crown entertainment complex centre and had our photos taken! Once we got back to the hostel, it was time to talk to my brother james before we went to New Zealand so we chatted via webcam then i went to get packed properly ready for the taxi to pick us up at 2am in morning to the airport.
