Bairnsdale was the destination for the lads today but me' and Charlene declined to join them seeing that we didn't fancy dragging ourselves to Bairnsdale, 3 hours away from Melbourne and the cost mainly put us off as it was 60 dollars return. We also were more than happy to get rid of the lads so we could go shopping without them moaning and complaining! :-) We went on the tram from St Kilda to south-cross station to say bye to the lads and us girls remained on the tram to go to the famous Queen Victoria Market, it is apparently the largest Market in Australia. We spent a couple of hours there having a nose about, I mainly liked the cheap yet chic souvenirs stalls which I bought some things from. We also bought a rainbow coloured stick and broke it in half as it was too long for us to be able to eat one each. As it was getting a bit darker and colder, we agreed to go to Melbourne central where it is warmer and indoor! Originally we wanted to go in Gloria Jean coffee but found it was on process of building so we went to a sofa area where I saw a cupcakes shop, obviously I went to order one and it tasted good but not same as lola's cupcakes in London. We spent a bit treating ourselves to a lovely sport-girl weekend bag, mine was red coloured bag, and Charlene bag was blue just like her car! We also bought a hoodie each as it would be extremely cold in New Zealand, as the money given by Asher, I decided to buy him one too seeing that he hasn't got enough warm clothes. We thought it was a fabulous day just chilling out and shopping until we drop! We took advantage of free wifi in the Melbourne central so we just sat there laden with our bags catching up with news, emails and Facebook! After a half hour, we went to catch the tram to our hostel, and went on the webcam to chat with our mums! Lying on the bed after a long day of shopping, I fell asleep heavily and didn't move one bit until I woke up at around 10am.
