Hello from my tent :-) finally arrived in Tanzania after two very long days on the truck...long interesting days!

Crossed the border from Rwanda into Tanzania yesterday afternoon and had one armed guard escort us :-) all good stuff! Then we got stuck on route to our guest house as the bridge was closed-no panic because we were staying with the big man-the police chief lol he managed to sort that out but by this time it was pitch black and we had to have two armed guards escort us :-) lovely stuff! Anyway the guest house was amazing-long drop and 4girls in one tiny bed! Didn't risk a shower :-)

Woke up early this morning for another long drive to the shores of Lake Victoria which is where my tent is currently pitched! I actually really like it :-) the we are heading to the Serengeti tomorrow for some night time game drives and fun in the wilderness! :-) x
